- Take 1 bowl(cup) frozen peas
- Prepare 1 bowl(cup) paneer
- Take 1/4 cup cream
- Get 4-6 cashewnuts(soak 15 minute in 1/4 cup milk)

- Get 2-3 cloves
- Prepare 2-3 pieces black pepper
- Take 1 bay leaf
- Get 1 stone star
- Prepare 1 cinnamon
- Take as needed Ghee
- Get 2-3 pinch Hing
Matar paneer is a classic vegetarian curry of Indian cheese and peas cooked in a tomato-based sauce. Frying the cheese until golden makes a big difference to the flavour and texture of the curry so don't. Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat until it's shimmering hot. Add the paneer, then turn the heat down a little.
Instructions to make Matar paneer:
- Heat a pan add 1 tablespoon ghee add ginger and chilli paste add chopped tomato roast 2 to 3 mint keep aside for few mint after-
- Take a blender jar add roasted tomato add cashew &milk.blend all item proper.
- Heat a pan again add 1tablespoon ghee add cumin seeds, cloves,black pepper,star, bay leaf, cinnamon, dry red chilli & hing.roast few seconds until colour change now add tomato gravy
- Add red kasmiri chilli,turmeric,coriander powder garam masala and roast roast until the ghee start to release. After add some water and peas and cook 5 mint
- Add salt kasturi methi,cream and paneer cook again 5 mint
- Garnish coriander leaves and serve
Matar paneer has paneer and matar/ green peas as main ingredients. I tried this recipe after I tasted this at my friend Sangeeta's place. Loved it very much and asked her the recipe for it.
