- After that, mix the prawns and chopped garlic, onion, and pour the water. You can start adding the sauces, salt, sugar and black pepper.

How to cook Black Pepper Prawns. Remove shells from the prawns, but keep the tail on. Heat up a wok, and add the oil on medium heat. Saute the onion and black pepper until fragrant. Add the prawns and stir to combine.
