Cut the radish into small pieces as shown in the picture below. Slice the onions and green chilies. Place the cooking pot on the stove and add the chopped. Add mustard, urad dal, curry leaves and asafoetida.

- Cook rice with salt and keep aside
- In a pan add 5tbsp cooking oil
- Add shahijeera
- Once it splutters add cinnamon stick
- Add cardamom and cloves
- Add sliced onion and saute

- Squeeze and add grated radish mix well and cover and cook in a medium flame
- Now add fresh green peas
- Grind tomato and green chilli into a fine paste
- Now add the paste into a pan and saute well
- Now add required salt
- Add fresh mint leaves or coriander

- You can add fried bread pieces for extra taste but its optional
